Young and the Restless Recap: Sally Still Wants Nick Newman
Adam (Mark Grossman) met Sally at Crimson Lights. She wanted to talk about his job offer, which she turned down. She said they couldn’t work together again, and Adam wondered if Nick helped her decide.
Not ready to let it go, Adam talked up the opportunity, and Sally was offended that Adam insinuated she didn’t make her own decisions. He apologized, however, she remained unmoved. “There isn’t a Newman alive who will ever sign my paycheck again,” Sally declared.

Adam kept talking about how great things were between them the last time they worked together, and Sally wanted Adam to stop. She reiterated that they had to stick to their boundaries. “This baby is yours, but I’m with Nick,” Sally said.
He apologized again, and Sally encouraged him to move on. Adam didn’t believe there was somebody like that out there for him, though. She told him that he had to find a way to finally let her go. Adam denied it, but Sally insisted that he hadn’t. Sally said goodbye and left.
Young and the Restless: Nick Newman Makes A Bold Move
Nick (Joshua Morrow) wrapped up some business at the Genoa City Athletic Club and saw Elena (Brytni Sarpy) at the bar. She updated him that she was staying at the club these days and admitted Nick was right about Nate.
Elena wanted to know how long Nick and known about Nate and Victoria, but Nick declined to answer. Even so, he let Elena know Nate was a jackass and she deserved better. He suggested they get some ice cream, and Elena agreed. Although the ice cream selections sucked, Nick and Elena shared a drink, and he offered to pay, but she declined.
Nick offered his unsolicited advice. Treat the breakup like a root canal and do nothing. Elena wondered about the podcast, and Nick said it was up to her. She brought up Nick’s situation with Sally and Adam, but Nick said it was going okay. He revealed he’s the happiest he’s been in a long time.
Sally walked into her suite and found Nick set it up with a beautiful dinner for two. Nick let Sally know there was something he hadn’t said to her yet. He said he’d “fallen completely in love with” Sally. She responded with “oh,” and Nick didn’t love her response. Sally wondered why he was telling her now, and he said he’d been reminded that things are complicated.
“You’re the best thing that’s happened to me in a very long time,” Nick declared. Sally still didn’t seem to believe it, but Nick said nothing would keep him away from her. “You’re stuck with me,” he said. Sally was happy about that. They started kissing.
Young and the Restless: Setting The Record Straight
Nate (Sean Dominic) walked into Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) office, and she could tell he wasn’t all that happy. Victoria poured glasses of the “decent stuff,” and she asked Nate how they were. He tried to talk business, but she wanted to know about their relationship. Nate admitted that Elena moved out. He said his relationship with Elena was broken beyond repair, and he didn’t want to try.
Ultimately, Nate wasn’t the same man he was when he and Elena got together. He credited working at Newman for helping him become the man he wanted to be. Nate couldn’t believe how he and Victoria had developed such an attraction suddenly after knowing each other for years. She agreed that she wanted him and asked where he wanted things to go from there.
Nate asked her to go first, and Victoria said she wanted more of him. Nate admitted that they wanted the same things. He said he was thrilled, but he felt like they’d negotiated a contract about their relationship. Nate left to get back to work, and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) showed up on the elevator, overhearing Victoria asking Nate to check in about a streaming deal.
Y&R Recap: Secrets
Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Jack (Peter Bergman) wanted to tell Diane about Phyllis. Michael (Christian Le Blanc) insisted that they couldn’t tell her. Kyle also wanted to tell Summer (Allison Lanier). Daniel (Michael Graziadei) agreed with Michael.
Diane (Susan Walters) walked in and wondered if there was news she should know. Jack played it off like they were brainstorming, but Diane couldn’t see how Daniel fit in. She gave him her heartfelt condolences, and Daniel told her she wasn’t going to prison. Diane wondered why he sounded so certain.
Daniel blamed it on Jeremy, and Diane couldn’t believe that he believed her. She asked him to swear a statement, but Michael said they’d keep it in their back pocket. Diane left with renewed hope, and Kyle still wanted to tell his mom the truth, but again Michael insisted they shouldn’t.
They wanted to know what bodies were used for the dead people in the ambulance wreck. Nobody knew, though. They argued back and forth about telling Summer and Diane, but Michael and Daniel continued to insist that they keep the secret.
Michael and Daniel left, and Kyle said he knew how it felt to believe your mother was dead. He did not want to keep the secret. Jack agreed it was frustrating, but he urged Kyle to wait until they had all the pieces in place. He begged Kyle to wait until he’d seen Christine, and Kyle didn’t want to, but he reluctantly agreed.
Jack sat at Society, and he got a text that Christine was running late. Jack got a notification, and it was a photo of a day he and Phyllis were together. “Hello, Jack,” Victor (Eric Braeden) said. “You look as if you just saw a ghost.”
Diane and Kyle talked, and she said she’d been praying for a miracle that it would all go away. She wanted to plan a family vacation. “You can’t make this go away, Mom, but I can,” Kyle said. “There’s something you need to know.”
