The Young and the Restless recap for Monday brings Devon Hamilton making his final decision about the lawsuit against Lily and Jill.
Jeremy managed to steal Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) phone and Diane’s ring out of Jack’s pocket, and Phyllis convinced Diane to go upstairs by lying to her. Plus, Victor admonished Adam and Victoria while Nikki welcomed Sharon into the grandma’s club. Christine told Lauren and Michael she needed a change and gave a Paul update, while Jill praised Billy, which left him and Chelsea surprised. Now let’s dig deeper into what happened.
In the jazz lounge, couples danced happily on the dance floor. Kyle gushed about how much he loved Summer’s (Allison Lanier) speech — especially the part about moving back home to raise their kids.
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) gave Genoa City something to talk about by dancing closely. Lauren (Tracey Bregman) complained about it to Michael (Christian Le Blanc), but he defended second-plus chances. Lauren didn’t love that Michael thought they looked great together, and she reminded him that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) would rain down hell.
Upstairs, Phyllis and Jeremy (James Hyde) planned to get Diane’s engagement ring to provide the finishing touch to their plan.
Back at the lounge, Lily (Christel Khalil) begged Devon (Bryton James) to work things out for Neil’s sake. Outside, Devon told Lily that Victor was the person who got Jill to change her mind about the Initial Public Offering. Lily reminded her brother that all his concerns were gone now.
Devon just didn’t see how he could work with Lily anymore after all she’d done. Lily apologized for hiring Amanda (Mishael Morgan). He admitted that he should’ve been more honest with Lily. She insisted that they could get past it all. Devon teared up as he heard an album Neil and Dominic loved. Lily called it a sign and begged him to make up, so Devon agreed to drop the lawsuit and they hugged.

Jill (Jess Walton) sat down with Lauren and Michael in the jazz lounge. They talked about dedicating a room upstairs to commemorate Jill’s many trysts. She considered possibly adding to her legendary conquests before the night ended.
Leanna (Barbara Crampton) walked up to Jack and Diane, interrupting them on the dance floor. She declared their reunion her scoop of the evening. Jack told her to buzz off. However, Leanna tried to entice Diane with the chance to clear her name. Diane wanted no part of it, so Leanna changed tactics by telling Diane how lucky she was, and she noted what a phenomenal lover Jack was.
Kyle considered going to rescue his parents, but Summer suggested he let them deal with Leanna themselves. Summer got a call from the nanny, and she worried about Harrison. It seemed Harrison’s lovey Zippy was missing.
Victor (Eric Breaden) told Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) how happy he was to have the Newmans together celebrating. While Nikki didn’t love seeing Jack with Diane, Victor blamed it on Jack’s poor choices. He asked Nikki to dance, and they cut a (stately) rug.
Out in the club, Elena (Brytni Sarpy) told Audra (Zuleyka Silver) to stop, and she joined Nate (Sean Dominic) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) at the bar. They kissed hello, and Victoria excused herself. Nate updated her on the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge and expressed his hope his cousins would work things out. Ultimately, Elena didn’t appreciate that Nate seemed distracted by the Newmans.
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) arrived, and he reminded her that they could leave any time. Later, they sat at a table with Daniel (Michael Graziadei). They talked about work, and he thanked Chelsea for all her ideas. He updated Billy and Chelsea about the jazz club dedicated to Neil, which is why he was giving Lily some space. The moment was awkward.
Jill joined Billy and Chelsea later, and they chatted about Billy’s life since his breakup with Lily. She apologized to her son for being so hard on him when he left Chancellor-Winters. Jill also brought up Johnny spending time with Billy and Chelsea, and she let her son know he was an outstanding father. Even so, Jill seemed surprised to see Chelsea and Billy together at the gala.
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Adam (Mark Grossman) walked back into the Genoa City Athletic Club after taking a walk. He complained about putting his foot in his mouth around Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sally (Courtney Hope). Adam fortified himself with some bubbly to give him the strength to face Victoria.
Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Tucker (Trevor St. John), and Victoria sat beside each other, and Leanna walked by, causing Ashley to comment wryly about seeing people she’d lost track of. Victoria wanted to know where things stood with Tucker selling his company. Tucker claimed to be weighing his options. He said he wanted to sell to Devon. Victoria wanted to know Ashley’s angle on the whole thing, but Ashley denied it.
They excused themselves, and Victor walked over to his daughter. She let her dad know that Tucker seemed to have lost his edge. Victor wondered if Tucker was playing them. Adam walked over, and he wanted an update on acquiring McCall. Victoria told Adam once again he’d never be head of McCall.
Victor admonished Victoria and Adam to consider what they could accomplish working together as a team. “We could rule the damn world,” he said and walked off. Victoria and Adam parted ways, and she walked over to Nate, who sat alone at the bar. He updated her on Elena.
Audra found Elena and wondered about her and Nate’s intense talk. Elena noted that she thought Audra’s suggestion about interviewing J.T. wasn’t that bad an idea.
At the bar, Tucker and Ashley talked. Jill walked up, and she wanted to talk to Tucker. She took him to task for planting a mole at Chancellor-Winters. He blithely apologized, but Jill didn’t accept.
A masked Jeremy walked downstairs. He bumped into Kyle as Kyle and Summer walked outside to talk to Harrison’s nanny. Jeremy inched closer to where Jack and Diane were dancing. Michael swung Lauren over to the happy couple, and they challenged them to a dance-off.
Jeremy walked between Jack and Diane, jostling her (and he grabbed the ring out of Jack’s pocket). Diane and Jack suspected it was Jeremy. He vowed to find that man, but Diane asked Jack to wait. Instead, she wanted to announce their engagement. Jack wanted to talk to the club security, and he left Diane alone.
Phyllis walked up to Diane, and she removed her mask, glaring sinisterly. Diane yelled at Phyllis, but Phyllis lied and said Kyle was sick, and she lured Diane upstairs to check on Kyle. She didn’t believe Phyllis, but Phyllis said she wouldn’t lie about Kyle. Phyllis said that Kyle needed to be convinced to get medical help.
Diane texted Kyle, but Jeremy had his phone. She let Phyllis know that Kyle wasn’t responding to her texts. Diane still didn’t want to leave with Phyllis, so she gave Diane the suite number — 567. Diane left.
Kyle and Summer walked back in, and Daniel approached them. He told Summer about the odd conversation he’d had with Phyllis, and Summer admitted that their mom had had the same conversation with her. They both agreed it was strange, if not moving. Daniel wondered if they’d been too harsh on Phyllis, and Kyle reminded them that Phyllis was out of control. Summer worried they’d made things worse.
Leanna noticed that Diane walked upstairs with Phyllis hot on her trail. She got up and looked at them, realizing something was going on.
Later, Lauren and Michael saw Christine (Lauralee Bell). They asked about Paul, noting he was retired now. Christine let them know he’d gone to Portugal to visit Lucy and Heather. Michael tried to get Christine to update him on the arbitration. While she wouldn’t give him details, she noted that she might make a switch back to District Attorney — Christine needed a change.
Sharon updated Christine about her new grandbaby, showing her lots of photos. Nikki walked up, and she wanted to see the photos too. Sharon thanked Christine for helping them bring a baby in, and Nikki welcomed Sharon to the grandma club.
Esther (Kate Linder) walked in, and Leanna saw her. Of course, Esther didn’t seem too thrilled to see Leanna. Ever the reporter, Leanna tried to get details about the issues at Chancellor-Winters. Esther wanted to find Devon and Lily, and Leanna wondered if there was a story between the siblings.
