The Young and the Restless recap for Monday brings Ashley Abbott turning the tables on Tucker…again.
Plus, Abby and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) talk about the status of their relationship. Audra tries and fails to get details out of Tucker. Victoria kisses Nate…at the office. Finally, Lily looks annoyed as Daniel seems to love Chelsea’s idea for the gaming platform. Now let’s dig deeper into what went down.
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) showed up at Tucker’s (Trevor St. John) hotel suite, and she let him know that Victoria learned somebody else had bought his debt. Tucker already knew that. Even so, Audra tried to get details about who’d bought it from Tucker, but he wasn’t spilling.
Audra called out Tucker for acting out of character by attempting to sell McCall Unlimited to Newman Enterprises, and he called her out for her slipping performance. He declared Audra had lost her elegance in subterfuge, and he wondered how he should handle Audra not being on his side.

Ultimately, Audra admitted she was trying to get information. Even so, she was still his asset. Tucker told Audra he had something more profound happening, and she thought it was adorable that he was in love. He wondered if Audra was jealous, but she denied it. Now that somebody else controlled him, she wondered what Tucker would become, but he felt his legend would live on. Tucker told Audra to leave.
At Society, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) noticed that Abby (Melissa Ordway) looked tired. She told her mom she was worried about Devon (Bryton James) and his lawsuit. Ashley wanted to know if her daughter and Devon had something more than the “mistake” they had made. Abby shared that she and Devon weren’t rushing into anything just yet.
Ashley lamented her Jack issues, and Abby assumed it was about Diane. Then, she asked her mom what was going on with Tucker. Ashley didn’t have a simple explanation for what was going on between her and her ex, which worried Abby. Ashley said she did something big that she hoped forced Tucker to do the right thing. Abby looked concerned as her mom left.
Ashley knocked on Tucker’s door, and he let her know Victoria was blowing up his phone. However, he wanted Ashley’s master plan. Ashley wondered if Tucker was going crazy not being in control, and he admitted he was a little bit. He said he was 100% ready to divest himself of McCall Unlimited — for the right price. However, Ashley wondered if he’d do it for the right reason and sell it to his son.
Nate (Sean Dominic) had an idea to share with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). He suggested they give up on trying to leverage Tucker to sell low. In a monologue filled with possible innuendos, Nate’s ideas intrigued Victoria.
She let Nate know that Victor wanted Tucker’s company to give to Adam to run. However, Victoria had her own plans — dismantling it. She even had something big for Nate regarding McCall’s entertainment division. They both agreed that the reward was worth the risk. Nate hoped that Audra would find out the information they needed to get the company.
Victoria and Nate planned to offer Tucker enough money to buy back his debt. They didn’t know who bought the debt, though. Nate commented on Victoria’s impatience, but she let him know that information was power and power was control, which Victoria liked as much or more than money.
She stepped forward to Nate, and they began kissing passionately. Audra walked up outside Victoria’s door. She knocked, and they quickly moved apart. Victoria said to come in, and Audra thought she might have interrupted something.
On the Crimson Lights patio, Devon talked to Christine on the phone, pushing for war with Jill (Jess Walton) and Lily (Christel Khalil). He was furious with his sister for not taking his side.
At the park, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Lily talked…and had a comfortable silence too. She enjoyed that they had that type of relationship. Lily admitted she felt connected to Daniel. They nearly kissed, but Lily broke the moment and asked if that had nearly happened. Neither knew what they were thinking.
They decided the other was entirely off-limits. Then, Daniel wanted to put it all out there. They did a corny reintroduction of themselves and recounted their heartache. Daniel wondered when they got so jaded, and Lily said love sucks.
Lily and Daniel went to Crimson Lights and ordered drinks. He admitted that his heart wasn’t in Omega Sphere anymore. They sat on the patio, and Lily reminded Daniel why he started the gaming platform in the first place. She gave him a big pep talk, encouraging him to continue.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) walked in, and she asked Lily if she could interrupt. Lily allowed her to, and Chelsea got right to the point about her excitement over Omega Sphere. They moved inside, and Chelsea shared her story with Daniel. Lily stared unhappily as Chelsea talked.
Chelsea suggested that Daniel use his platform to help people in need. Daniel pointed out that she wanted to channel her experience into something positive to help other people. Lily wanted to make sure Chelsea was ready to take something like that on, and Chelsea said her therapist had approved it.
Daniel saw the potential of Chelsea’s idea, and he wanted to pursue it. Her explanation sparked something in him, and Lily did not look happy.
Devon went to Society, and Abby served him some wine. He recounted his run-in earlier with Nate and Lily. Devon blamed Lily and Jill for not selling him his company or changing their minds about the Initial Public Offering, especially after Nate nearly sold them out. Then Victoria tried to come after them. Abby warned Devon that Tucker’s motivation may have been different than Victoria’s.
Devon wondered where Abby’s new insight about Tucker came from, and she admitted she’d spoken with her mom. Abby said that Ashley seemed to see something different in Tucker. She also told Devon she’d shared his situation with Lily to her mom, and Devon understood because that’s what happens when you’re with someone.
Devon tried to cover his tracks by saying he meant when you’re close to someone. Abby understood, and she didn’t need to have a word for what they were right now.
