Y&R Recap: Ashley Abbott Drops A Bombshell
At Crimson Lights, Adam (Mark Grossman) pushed Victor (Eric Braeden) to give him Victoria’s job. Victor said he wasn’t going to remove Victoria from her position, and Adam tried to leave, but Victor insisted that he stay. Victor promised Adam that, given a bit of time, the younger man would have a chance to run a vast company. Adam doubted his father and said he’d give him 24 hours.
At her office, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) told Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Nate (Sean Dominic) that Tucker had offered to sell his company to Newman Enterprises. Nick expressed his doubt that Tucker was sincere in the offer. Nate said he understood Tucker’s motivations, and he revealed that Audra had told Tucker about their plans.
Victoria pointed out that Audra’s instinct to tell Tucker was the same one Victor had. Ultimately, Victoria said she thought they should stick to their original plan. Not surprisingly, Nick didn’t really agree.
Later, Victoria told Victor about Audra telling Tucker, and then Tucker making his offer. Victor and Victoria agreed to buy up Tucker’s debt instead. However, she got a phone call and learned that somebody else had already bought Tucker’s debt. She relayed the information to Victor, and they wondered if Devon was the person who’d done it, but Victor didn’t think so. They couldn’t figure out who could’ve possibly done it.
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) welcomed Tucker (Trevor St. John) into the Abbott mansion. He let Ashley know he’d kept his promise to be a changed man — he decided to sell McCall Unlimited. Ashley said she didn’t see that coming, and Tucker thought she shouldn’t be surprised.
Of course, Ashley wasn’t too impressed since Tucker’s back was against the wall with the debt. He argued his case to her, saying his life was essentially empty without those he loved in it. Tucker yelled about his sacrifices not counting for anything, and Ashley said she enjoyed watching him squirm, and he agreed that was fair.
Tucker got a call, and he told Ashley that somebody — not Newman Enterprises — had already assumed his debt. He hated being caught off guard. He hated not knowing what the new player wanted, and he accused Ashley of enjoying it. She did, and she admitted she bought his debt. Ashley owned him and wouldn’t make it easy for him.
Young and the Restless: Best Friends
Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) caught up with Sally (Courtney Hope) outside Society. She was full of excitement about the possibility of working with Chancellor-Winters, but Sally was more concerned about her pregnancy situation.
Inside, Sally and Chloe discussed the possibilities of who her baby’s father was, and Chloe reminded her friend of how precious the baby would be no matter how it all turned out. Chloe was also full of positivity about their business too, and Sally thanked her for being such a great friend.
Nick walked in, and he asked if they’d heard back from Jill. Sally explained they had a follow-up meeting scheduled, and she thanked Nick for helping them get a second shot with Jill. Chloe split, and Nick tried to calm Sally down, reminding her that the results likely wouldn’t come for another day. He promised they’d make things work no matter what happened.
Adam showed up, and Nick and Sally spoke to him briefly but seemed uncomfortable. Sally and Nick left as Adam told her to take care. They went to Crimson Lights, and Sally got a text letting her know the paternity test results were in.
Y&R Recap: A Warning
At his hotel room, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) reassured Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) that he loved her and that he will never let her down again. He promised to be there for her and earn back her trust. He’d be more involved, even if they had an ocean in between them.
As they hugged, Heather (Vail Bloom) knocked on the door, and she sent Lucy to get her stuff. Daniel thanked Heather for giving them time together. Heather told Daniel to proceed with caution when it came to Lucy because the teen was vulnerable and confused. She asked him not to push too hard, too soon.
Lucy showed back up, and she and Heather left to see Paul. Lily (Christel Khalil) called to see if Daniel could talk about Omega Sphere, and she came over to his room. Daniel updated Lily about Heather and Lucy’s unexpected arrival in Genoa City, complete with Heather’s new love.
Daniel worried that without Heather and Lucy, Omega Sphere had no reason for being, but Lily reminded him that he still had a path to forgiveness with his daughter. Daniel told Lily he didn’t have the energy or the will to move forward with the project. Lily told him things would get better, and she encouraged him to stick with it, but he said he needed time to process. Lily left him to do just that.
Young and the Restless Recap: A Family Matter
Christine (Lauralee Bell) showed up at Devon’s (Bryton James). Abby (Melissa Ordway) went up to check on Dominic while Devon and Christine discussed his case. She double-checked that Devon really wanted to start a lawsuit against Lily and Jill, and he assured her that he did.
Christine had what she needed. As she left, Abby returned. She expressed her surprise that Devon really was moving forward. By the elevator, Christine ran into Nate, and he tried to get information out of her, but Christine managed to sidestep him.
Christine and Lily saw each other at Society, and she let Lily know that she was representing Devon. Christine tried to see if Lily and Jill would compromise, and Lily let her know that they’d tried, and Devon refused. After Christine left, Lily got on the phone to ask Amanda to come back for a short time to defend the company.
Back at Devon’s, Abby expressed her concern for Devon. She worried that he wouldn’t be happy with the outcome. After all, Neil would still be gone when the whole thing was over.
