The Young and the Restless has already made it clear that Elena Dawson and Nate Hastings are the cheating type. She’s cheated with him, she’s cheated on him, and he’s cheated with her.

So now that Elena (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate (Sean Dominic) are together, it’s inevitable. The only question is: Who Will Do It First?

It’s My Y&R Turn

There are two reasons that 81% of you voted for Nate to be the one. First and foremost, he’s the one that Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) is throwing herself at…only he’s too oblivious to see it…or too stubborn to admit it. But the even better reason is that it’s Nate’s turn.

Sure, Nate slept with Elena when she was with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). But Elena also slept with Devon when she was with Nate. So he’s the one who should have a free pass. And when Elena takes offense, he can point out that what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Nate is the gander in this metaphor.

Young and the Restless Back to Before

Devon isn’t very happy with Nate these days. And Elena seems to be taking his side. Is there a better reason for this to end in sex, 11% of the audience wonder? And if Nate continues pouting every time Elena doesn’t back him all the way — while Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) insists on being there for her sick mom — what else could Elena and Devon do but hit the sheets?

All Good

A pathetic 8% insists that Elena and Nate are solid. Their relationship is in no danger. Devon is happy with Amanda, while Elena is on Nate’s side, ride or die. Besides, they’ve broken up and gotten together multiple times before. Which means they know what else is out there — and have decided this is where they want to be.
