Victoria Newman was so excited to be having a business meeting with someone who wasn’t arguing with her on The Young and the Restless that she spontaneously kissed Nate Hastings in the middle of it. Nate just as spontaneously pretended nothing happened and kept saying business words.

Of course not, 13% of you scoff. Nate loves Elena (Brytni Sarpy). And Elena might have cheated on Devon (Bryton James) with Nate, then cheated on Nate with Devon. But Nate is a one-woman man. He worked so hard to convince Elena to trust him again. He wouldn’t risk that. Or throw it away.
Back In Young and the Restless Business
Back when Nate was still a doctor, he and Elena had oodles in common. They could talk about…medical things. Now that Nate is no longer a doctor, he and Elena have fewer oodles in common. Now, Nate has more oodles with Victoria (Amelia Heinle).

They can talk about spreadsheets and profit margins and yell “buy!” or “sell!” at each other. This is a much better match all the way around. Plus, it’s a good way to keep from getting fired once Nate messes up at Newman Enterprises as severely as he did at Chancellor-Winters, according to 43% of the audience.
Y&R: Wait and See
Then again, an only slightly larger 44% of voters want Nate to make sure Elena and he are done for good before making any moves. She was angry at him. Then she was less angry at him. She broke up with him. Then she kind of walked it back. Get a definitive answer before you move on, Doc.
