Harrison Locke just can’t catch a break on The Young and the Restless. The tot hasn’t even started Kindergarten yet, and already the poor kid has been taken away from his home in New York City and dumped with strangers in Genoa City. First, his mother disappeared without a word, then Father went away and left him with Daddy and Summer, who took him to Italy.
Young and the Restless Polling
After a few months, they dragged him back to Genoa City, introduced him to more new relatives, forbade Father from seeing him, and then told him Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) was dead. Oh, and before the boy had even processed that bit of news, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) told him that Didi was his grandma. Now go upstairs and take a nap. Has Kyle gone too far?
Overwhelmed and In Over His Y&R Curls
This is a kid who has no idea what most of those words mean. Father, Daddy, Didi, Grandma…they’re all just people Harrison (Kellen Enriquez) has been passed off to whenever the adults in his life have something better to do. The only thing he knows for sure now is that Mommy is gone, Father is never coming back, and they’re not “speaking Italy” anymore.
Which is why 67% of you believe the last thing he needs is to try and figure out where Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) fits into his crazy life. Kyle was thinking of himself, not Harrison, when he sprung the latest relation on him.
Young and the Restless: The Replacements
You know how, when the old goldfish dies, you instantly run out and get the kid a new one so that he doesn’t cry? That’s what Kyle did, and 23% of the audience is all for it. Father is dead? Here’s Grandma! Now be happy, darn it!
Young & Restless: Who Knows
The experienced parents in the audience know that whatever you do for your kid, you’ll be wrong. Which is why 10% have no idea if Kyle’s blurt was for the better…or the worse.
