On The Young and the Restless, Diane Jenkins has left town, with Jack Abbott and Kyle Abbott’s support, in order to protect herself — and them — from Jeremy Stark. But is the drug lord really out to get her, or is something more nefarious going on?
A minority, 9% of you, is completely confused about this storyline. You don’t know who is telling the truth, who is lying, or even who wants to do what to whom. A little mystery is intriguing. A lot of mystery is…a hot mess.
Oh, yeah, 19% have no doubts, Jeremy (James Hyde) is here for revenge, and the person he most wants to take it out on is Diane (Susan Walters). She not only got him arrested, but she took off with his money, too. Jeremy would like his money back. And then he really wants to make Diane suffer.
Jeremy is scheming with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), 24% of the audience suspects. The timing is awfully suspicious, isn’t it? Jeremy could have tracked down Diane at any time, but he waited until after Tucker came to Genoa City…and started plotting to take over Newman Enterprises…or is that Jabot…Chancellor-Winters? We may not know what Tucker thinks he’s doing. But you’re sure Jeremy does! And he’s in on it!
But, ultimately, 48% of voters think that Diane and Jeremy are working together to scam everyone. Why, then, are they clinging to their con even when they’re alone together, and there is no one around to overhear them? Because they are method actors! Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) thinks she’s a master con artist, but, let’s be honest, everything she does eventually blows up in her face. If she wants to see master manipulators at work, check out Diane and Jeremy. They’re going to win it all!
