Sally Spectra has a secret that’s going to get harder and harder to keep with every passing hour on The Young and the Restless. She’s pregnant, and she’s not sure who the father might be. Should she fill in the daddy candidates, brothers Nicholas Newman and Adam Newman?
Sally (Courtney Hope) should tell Adam (Mark Grossman), 17% of voters advise. Even if Adam isn’t the father, he’s always gotten Sally in a way Nick (Joshua Morrow) hasn’t. He’ll be able to help her sort through her feelings and come to the decision that’s right – for her.
Sally should hold off telling anyone until she’s decided what she wants to do, 21% of fans caution. She might still decide to terminate the pregnancy and make it so that no one will be the wiser. Or she might decide to have the baby alone without any father. There are lots of options on the table and until Sally is committed to one, it’s nobody’s business but hers.
Get a paternity test, find out who the father is, and then fill in the Daddy-to-be, which is what 28% of the audience is rooting for. Why get two people upset and/or excited, not to mention competitive and confrontational until you know what’s really going on – and who needs to be concerned about it?
Sally is currently dating Nick, so he is the one she needs to fill in, sooner rather than later. If they are to have any kind of long-term relationship, they need to be honest with each other. Sally needs to tell him that she’s pregnant and that she doesn’t know who the father is. Nick can make his own decisions subsequently. It’s the only honorable thing to do, is what 34% say.
