Is Young and the Restless’s Tucker Sincere About Ashley Abbott?

Tucker McCall has been putting in a full-court press to get back into Ashley Abbott’s good graces on The Young and the Restless. She seems to be melting just a bit… but is he sincere about his feelings?

The Young and the Restless Polling: Love Match

It’s obvious he still loves her, 8% are rooting for these two crazy kids to give it another try. Tucker (Trevor St. John) is a pretty closed-off guy. If he drops his guard, you have to assume it really means something to him. The only other person he’s come close to being this vulnerable with is Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), and he’s his son, so it’s not the same thing. Tucker is truly trying with Ashley. Because he truly loves her.

Y&R: Why Not Both?

Who cares whether or not Tucker actually loves Ashley, 31% of fans challenge. He’s still going to scheme. So, OK, so he loves her. Does that mean he doesn’t want to take over Hamilton-Winters? And Newman Enterprises? And Jabot? We’re not sure what exactly Tucker is doing back in Genoa City for, but we know that it’s something nefarious. We’re not saying it’s for something nefarious and Ashley. But nefarious will always take first place.

The Young and the Restless: The Other Woman

If Tucker truly loves Ashley, then why is he sleeping with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), a majority 61% are wondering. After all, pining requires celibacy, does it not? Just because Ashley keeps repeatedly shooting Tucker down, is that any reason for him to be seeking female companionship elsewhere? Tucker should be faithful to the relationship… he and Ashley aren’t in yet. The one that she has repeatedly told him she doesn’t want. But that’s not the point. Tucker should be faithful anyway. That’s how romance works. In soap land, anyway. Take some note, Tuc.
