Is Adam Right That Nick Newman Has Only Ever Loved Y&R’s Sharon?

It’s not just Victor Newman who has made it clear which son he prefers on The Young and the Restless. The show has gone out of its way to prove that Nicholas Newman is always right and Adam Newman was always wrong.

But was Adam (Mark Grossman) wrong when he accused Nick (Joshua Morrow) of only ever loving Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and all other women being distractions in between? Now, we realize that Adam had his self-serving reasons. He’s still in love with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and hates the idea of Nick and Sally growing close. But, does that mean he didn’t know what he was talking about?

Y&R: True That!

Even a broken clock is right twice a day, and Adam is right about this, 59% of fans proclaim. Nick, for better or worse, imprinted on Sharon in high school, and she’s had a claim on his heart ever since. There’s a reason the two of them always end up back together in the end. And that reason isn’t Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster). That reason is that they’re endgame. Whether they admit it or not.

If Nick and Sharon were to work out, wouldn’t it have happened by now, 28% of you challenge? How many times have they cheated on each other? Obviously, whatever one needs, the other can’t provide. Yes, they co-parent. Yes, they drink coffee in the same place. Yes, they are each other’s sounding board. But that’s not love. That’s…habit.

Adam doesn’t know what he’s talking about…and neither do we, 13% confess. Nick and Sharon have been such a mess for so long, none of us know whether we’re coming or going anymore. They’ll have to figure it out for themselves. All we know is this won’t end well for Sally. Just ask Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
