Imani Benedict has been hanging around The Young and the Restless for over a year now, without having much to show for it. First, she wanted Amanda Sinclair away from her mother. Then she wanted to work with Amanda to bring down their grandfather. So they did. Then she and Amanda decided to open a law practice together.
Young and the Restless Polling
So they did. Then Amanda (Mishael Morgan) opted to work for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), and bring Imani along. So they did. Imani hasn’t been driving story. Is it time for her to start? Should she go after Nate Hastings in order to really make a place for herself in Genoa City?
Y&R: No Man of Her Own
Look elsewhere, 87% of the audience is urging…strongly. Nate (Sean Dominic) is spoken for. He and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) are living together, and they’re extremely happy — when Elena is awake. Besides, why would someone as cool, beautiful, smart, and successful as Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) waste a minute of her time on a guy who doesn’t want her? Plenty of fish in the sea. Better ones, too.
Shake It Up Young and the Restless Style
That would be so soapy, 8% of you cheer. Nate and Elena have been so happy lately that they’re boring. They have no story. This would be a story. Imani looks like the type who is perfectly comfortable with underhanded tricks, and we are very low on those in Genoa City, these days.
Wait Your Turn
Nate and Elena are about to implode on their own, 5% of viewers predict, so Imani might as well wait and then just stroll in to pick up the pieces. Why put in the work — and incur the wrath of Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Amanda Sinclair — when she can just bide her time and still get everything she wants?
