Kyle Abbott is convinced his marriage is over on The Young and the Restless. And because Jack’s little boy is down in the dumps, he’s decided he needs to take a break from working at the family company. Because big, bad, scary Summer who broke his heart is there.

Oh, and Kyle (Michael Mealor) has been sleeping with Audra. She is running Newman Media now. Should Kyle jump ship and work for the competition? Almost 2,000 fans had some very strong feelings about the possibility:

Kyle has worked so hard for everything he’s achieved in his life. First, he worked for his father’s company. Then he worked for his father’s enemy’s company. Then his father bought him and his wife their own company to run. No wonder he’s exhausted! But since Kyle has already mastered that Abbott business world, Newman will be a new challenge for the prodigy, 13% suggest. What, you want him to go out and find a job that isn’t handed to him via connections?

Run It Up the Y&R Chain of Command

Audra may have had the authority to offer Kyle a job, 34% of you concede, but we don’t see Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nate (Sean Dominic) being thrilled about it. Newman is a family company. And, yes, Kyle was family while he was married to Summer (Allison Lanier). But that’s over now. So the door is closed. No nepo-baby double-dipping, my dude.

Honor Thy Father, Kyle Abbott

You know, Kyle, just because Jack (Peter Bergman) forgave you the last time you betrayed him in order to collude with Victor doesn’t mean you should make it a habit. Your dad will NOT be happy to lose you to the company that he’s been wrestling with most of his life, 53% remind. He bought you Marchetti specifically so you and Summer could play grown-up business owners. You owe him to actually run it in return.
