But he sat on them, and now the moment has passed. It is way too late in the process to back out now. Such a move could make the company look weak to Wall Street and do damage to the business Devon’s grandmother, Katherine Chancellor, worked so hard to inherit. It would be a slap in the face to both her and Neil.

Hamilton-Winters is Devon’s company, 75% are digging in their heels, and he can run it any way he wants. Devon saw Lily’s idea of good business. She hired both Nate (Sean Dominic) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver). They both turned out to be working for the competition. What foxes would Lily allow into the hen house if she took the company public? Devon doesn’t need to stick around to find out.
