Liz Webber has pretty much been on her own since she arrived on General Hospital at 15 years old. Sure, she could lean on her grandmother Audrey Hardy, but her parental units were missing in action during all of her huge life moments. You know who filled the gap? Her then-boyfriend and future ex-husband Lucky’s mom, Laura. So should she tell Laura what she’s been up to?

Laura (Genie Francis) has always been someone that Liz (Rebecca Herbst) could lean on and tell anything to — but this time, her secret involves Laura’s other son, Nikolas (Marcus Coloma). Soap Hub asked GH fans if Liz should still tell the mayor what she and Nik have been up to. Here is what almost 2,000 had to say about it.

For 14%, it was your conclusion that Liz does need to let this out, but perhaps she should be rather broad or even vague in what she admits to her former mother-in-law. She doesn’t want to put Laura in a bad position, after all, being the mayor of Port Charles. But she could certainly use her wisdom because she and Nikolas could be in big trouble if Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) gets her memory back.
Liz Webber: Don’t Break Now
Another 15% advise Liz to keep hers and Nik’s dirty little secret to herself because putting Laura in that position wouldn’t be fair. She doesn’t need to put her in legal jeopardy after the fact. No, this is one crisis that Liz needs to keep to herself and trust that she and Nikolas will find a way out from under on their own.

The rest of you at 71% urge Liz to tell her chosen mom everything — how else can Laura help her find a way out of the trouble that is heading towards her like a freight train? Laura’s instinct will be to protect her and her son. She can trust her. But Laura can’t help if Laura doesn’t know.
