Y&R Star Melissa Claire Egan Shares A Royal Behind The Scenes Sneak Peek

It’s always a treat when The Young and the Restless stars share behind-the-scenes sneak peeks, but recently, Melissa Claire Egan shared something quite…unique, and we’ve got some questions.

Melissa Claire Egan Takes The Throne

It’s no secret that soap stars must memorize pages and pages of dialogue, and so of course they develop strategies for how to commit those words to memory. Egan shared a unique place where she recently studied her lines on Instagram, and her co-stars seemed to love it.

In the photo, the Chelsea Lawson actress is sitting behind the scenes at the soap opera with a script in her hand. However, she’s not sitting on a regular chair. Instead, Melissa Claire Egan is on the throne — a white toilet, complete with a roll of toilet paper to her left — which you can see below. “I’ll study my lines pretty much anywhere #YR,” read her caption.

Egan’s co-stars quickly chimed in, and apparently, this royal seat is a regular on the set.

“Hahahahhahhahahhahhaha! Hat toilet just cracks me up! Whoever sits on a toilet on daytime,” questioned Victoria Newman actress Amelia Heinle.

Others like Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell Fisher), Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair Williams), Sean Dominic (Nate Hastings), Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra), Tracey Bregman (Lauren Fenmore Baldwin), Judah Mackey (Connor Newman), and even the official Y&R Instagram account replied to Melissa Claire Egan with variations of the laughing crying emoji.

However, Egan’s former All My Children co-star Alicia Minshew (Kendall Hart) replied in a different way. “I dare you to just drop your pants and go right there,” she wrote. It looks like the Chelsea actress didn’t accept it, though.
