Y&R Star Camryn Grimes Welcomes A New Addition To Her Family

The Young and the Restless star Camryn Grimes, who recently revealed that she is now engaged — just like her on-screen character, has also revealed another surprise — there is a new addition to her family.

The Mariah Copeland actress showed off her sweet new puppy named Burgess. Grimes took to Instagram to share several pictures and a short video of her household’s newest pet — a Bernedoodle, which is a cross between a Bernese mountain dog and a poodle. “Hey guys, my name is Burgess!” she captioned the photo.

“If I’ve been especially absent and not posting it’s because we’ve spent the last month welcoming this boy into our brood! He is smart and silly and everything we could’ve hoped for. Do we now have too many animals? Yes. Are we insane? Yes. Do I ever sit down? No. But we are happier than ever.

“I have to thank @highfalutinfurrybabies for bringing the most special soul to us, every day we are astonished by just how lucky we got. A million times thank you!”

Brytni Sarpy, who plays Elena Dawson, on the CBS soap opera, replied to Camryn Grimes, writing, “I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.”

On Y&R, Mariah and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) are planning their upcoming wedding. It seems as if the brides-to-be want to get things together for a spring ceremony, which means these two may say “I do” very soon.

While the on-screen couple is looking to expand their family as well, it won’t be of the fluffy variety for these two. Instead, Mariah and Tessa are beginning the paperwork to adopt a baby or a child of their very own. As for Camryn Grimes, Soap Hub sends congratulations on the arrival of her new fur baby!
