Y&R Celebrates Big Milestone For Beth Maitland And Eileen Davidson

The Young and the Restless recently pulled out all the stops to honor actresses Beth Maitland and Eileen Davidson with a set-side party. The actresses who portray the Abbott sisters are marking a big anniversary in Genoa City.

Maitland (Traci Abbott) took to Instagram to share some great photos and her thoughts on the party that the CBS daytime drama threw for her and Davidson, marking both women’s 40th anniversary with the soap.

In the photo, Don Diamont (Bill Spencer The Bold and the Beautiful), who portrayed Brad Carlton — a man who came between the Abbott sisters — spoke while Beth Maitland and Eileen Davidson sat in directors’ chairs amid a set decorated with balloons and photos of them on the soap.

“Somebody had an amazing, overwhelming, absolutely unmatchable day…” read Maitland’s caption. “OKAY IT WAS ME!!!! 40 YEARS!!!! [Eileen Davidson] [Don Diamont].”

In another fun post, Maitland held up a cupcake with a photo of Traci on it with a caption that read, “So, when you’ve been somewhere 40 YEARS!!! They put you on a cupcake!! #WORTHIT @youngandrestlesscbs @cbstv #actorslife #gratefuleveryday #anniversaryAbbotts.”

Christine Williams actress Lauralee Bell also shared photos of herself with both ladies during the celebration. She wrote, “Incredible time celebrating @bethmaitlanddqb and @eileendavidsonofficial on their 40th anniversary. I have so much love and respect for them both and can’t imagine #yr without them as the awesome Abbott sisters! ❤️❤️”

The women will mark their 40th anniversary on Y&R in June. Eileen Davidson first appeared as Ashley Abbott on June 11, 1982, and Beth Maitland made her Traci Abbott debut on June 17, 1982. You can check out all the celebratory Instagram posts below.
