Y&R Alum Shemar Moore Reveals Thrilling Details of His Upcoming Film

The Young and the Restless alum Shemar Moore recently revealed some thrilling new details about an upcoming film he’s in. The role is a far cry from Genoa City’s beloved Malcolm Winters or his character, Daniel ‘Hondo’ Harrelson on the primetime hit S.W.A.T. However, it looks like a fun, action-packed movie that the whole family can enjoy.

Shemar Moore Is In A Fun New Film

The actor took to Instagram to share the official trailer of his brand new movie — Sonic The Hedgehog 2. The movie is unique in that it combines cartoon characters along with live-action characters.

He captioned the trailer, “Ya boy is excited to join the@sonicmovie Familia!!! Enjoy the official trailer reveal and catch us in theaters on APRIL 8th!! 🦔💨💨 #sonicmovie2.”

In the video, Moore’s character is getting married outdoors in sunny Hawaii when all of the sudden a portal from somewhere snowy opens up and deposits Sonic (Ben Schwartz, voice) and Tails (Colleen O’Shaughnessey, voice) along with a pile of snow smack dab in the middle of the ceremony. Sonic appears happy to have landed in Hawaii, but the wedding party, which includes Shemar Moore as the groom seems less than impressed.

Also starring in the film alongside Moore is Idris Elba as Knuckles (voice), Jim Carrey as Dr. Ivo Robotnik (voice), James Marsden as Tom, Tika Sumpter (Layla Williamson, One Life To Live) as Maddie, and Natasha Rothwell as Rachel. For now, it’s unclear what Moore’s character’s name is in the film, which is in post-production.
