The Young and the Restless alum Shemar Moore has found great success in primetime with his CBS primetime series S.W.A.T. The former Malcolm Winters actor recently revealed a major cause for celebration for the cast and crew of his show.
Shemar Moore Announces A Huge Primetime Milestone
It’s been a big month for S.W.A.T. Not only did the series recently hit its milestone 100th episode but also it got renewed for a whopping sixth season. Moore took to Instagram to share the exciting news about the show, in which he portrays Daniel “Hondo” Harrison.
“Aaaayyeeeee!!!! Homies, Fans, n Baby Girls!!!!! You heard it here first!!!! [S.W.A.T. CBS] is renewed for SEASON 6 !!!!!! Another year of Kicking Ass coming your way 🔥🔥🔥 … ROLL SWAT BABY 💯” read his caption on a short but explosive video clip, revealing the exciting news.
CBS S.W.A.T. replied to the post, writing, “SEASON 6 🔥🔥 IT’S OFFICIAL!” Many fans and viewers also sent their congratulations and elation that one of their favorite primetime shows will be back for another exciting season.
In addition to post with a video clip, Shemar Moore also shared a video of himself and the cast and crew announcing the news on the set of the series.
“From our whole CAST, CREW, & PRODUCTION TEAM, Thank you to ALL of our amazing [S.W.A.T. CBS] FANS who ride with us every week!!! We couldn’t do this without you!!! Much Love to each and every one of you!!! 💛🙌🏾,” he captioned the video.
