The Young and the Restless (YR) is upping its hunk quotient with a new casting addition! Which lucky lady will be put opposite the primetime actor who’s coming to Genoa City?
EW.com reports that Jason Canela has been cast as Arturo, “a charismatic building contractor who uses his charm to, ahem, sway a client.”
Which lucky lady is in need of repairs around the house? Hmmm…. Aren’t Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) doing some construction updates to the penthouse? Could the Newman Ranch, be in need of some updating? Sharon (Sharon Case) is newly available.
Canela is bringing some soap experience to Y&R. He has appeared on several telenovelas including Donde Esta Elisa, Cosita Linda, and Ruta.
He’s also known for his role as Omar Robles on Fox’s short-lived but critically-acclaimed baseball series Pitch that aired on Fox last season.
