The Young and the Restless’ Rory Gibson shared pictures of himself walking down the street while puffing on a cigarette. The question is, why was he doing that?
The Answer Was Simple, Yet Complex
Rory Gibson joined the soap world when he played Noah Newman, the son of Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case), on Y&R. When last we heard about what he was doing, Noah was in London gearing up to open a Glam Club. Gibson himself kept busy by appearing in Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire in 2023. Although his resume is rather short, he’s been keeping up with fans on social media, and one recent post had a flurry of responses.
He shared two pics on Instagram of him walking down the street smoking, with the caption, “Mornin’.” Many fans lost their minds and told him about the dangers of cigarette smoking. Others thought he looked cool, with one responding, “You look dynamite smoking❤️ continue!” When one follower wrote, “Wait! That cigg can’t be real,” Gibson cryptically responded, “It’s all a ruse…”
Considering he’s holding a pack of Natural American Spirit cigarettes, what is the ruse? Is it a fake pack, but he wants people to think he’s really smoking? If so, would that be for an audition where the character he’s trying out for smokes? Or is the pack real, and the ruse is that he wants people to believe it’s fake? The fans want answers either way.
