She may not be on our screens as much as we’d like but it’s always nice when The Young and the Restless legal eagle Amanda Sinclair visits Genoa City. Things with Amanda and Devon Hamilton went south, alas, much to the chagrin of their fans. Off-screen, actress Mishael Morgan currently has her hands full with celebratory plans.
Happy Birthday, Mishael Morgan
And that’s because she was born on July 15, 1986, in San Fernando, Trinidad, and Tobago, which means that this talented performer is turning 37 years old today! Morgan began her acting career in 2008 with cameo roles in MVP and The Love Guru — a Canadian TV series and a feature film starring Mike Myers respectively.
Between 2008 and 2009, Morgan had a recurring role on the teen drama The Best Years and she subsequently scored a lead part in the sitcom Family Biz. Guest spots on series such as Covert Affairs and She’s the Mayor, roles in films like Casino Jack and You Got Served: Beat the World, and a recurring role on Republic of Doyle followed.
Mishael Morgan joined the cast of Y&R in May 2013 and made her debut in an episode that aired on June 14 of that year. She spent the next five years playing Hilary Curtis before leaving the show. She returned one year later under the guise of Hilary look-alike Amanda Sinclair.
Morgan’s other acting credits include episodes of Beauty and the Beast, Supernatural, The Listener, and Backpackers, as well as appearances in Total Recall and Night Cries (both feature films) and Hometown Holiday (a made-for-TV film).
Morgan has been married to Nadiv Ali since May 2012. Together the couple has two children: a son (born in 2015) and a daughter (born in 2018).
