Cait Fairbanks celebrates another birthday.
Tessa Porter has much to celebrate on The Young and the Restless. She and wife Mariah Copeland have welcomed their daughter, Aria Porter Copeland. In a case of art imitating life, her portrayer, Cait Fairbanks, is celebrating off-screen a special milestone.
And that’s because she was born on July 29, 1993, in Michigan, which means that this fan-favorite actress is turning 30 years old today! Fairbanks began performing on stage when she was 8, and as she matured as an actress, she subsequently joined the casts of many community, regional, and professional theater productions.
In 2014, she starred in the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway presentation of Heathers: The Musical, where she was Veronica, the female lead played by Winona Ryder in the 1989 classic feature.
Under both her stage name (having been born Caitlan Elizabeth Baunoch) and the name Ginesse, Fairbanks has composed, sung, and recorded a plethora of singles, including Digging My Own Grave, Fight of Flight, With Me, Bedford, Noise, and The Inbetween.
Cait Fairbanks has played Tessa Porter on Y&R since March 24, 2017. It has been a role that’s provided the musician with the opportunity to perform her own material onscreen.
Her other acting credits include guest spots on CSI: New York (Young Mindy), Untold Stories of the E.R. (Gabby Walsh), Everybody Hates Chris (Darlene), Lincoln Heights (Kennedy), Two and a Half Men (Joanne), and The Middle (Amanda).
Fairbanks also had a recurring role in K.C. Undercover (Ursula Witt), and she appeared in the short films The Red (Cait) and Across the Room (Callie), as well as the feature Speak Now (Cousin).
