Abby has been through all kinds of drama on The Young and the Restless. She’s done everything from staging her own kidnapping to having intense relationships with hot men. Melissa Ordway typically lives a low-key life, but her recent trip to Los Angeles wasn’t without its share of twists and turns.
L.A. Drama
What recently happened on Ordway’s trip sounds like something that would take place on a new soap opera that would probably be called L.A. Drama. (We would definitely watch.) Ordway shared the details of her trip on Instagram. She started off her post with a glam shot of her wearing an unbuttoned pink tank top. Though she looked stylish, she was actually wearing pajamas, which she unveiled later in her post. Ordway unveiled the rest of the photos in her post, including clips and photos of her family.

The Y&R star went on a trip with her husband, Justin Gaston, and their two kids. Their road trip was more dramatic than they signed up for. The family did all the typical things: They dined together and stayed at a hotel. They also shared some special memories. There was a clip that read, “Friendship is not about who you spend the most time with. It’s about who you have the best time with.”
It looked like they had a wonderful time, but the trip came with a surprising twist. “What a week in LA! Sunshine, good food, great friends, work, and yes—even a car break-in. There was never a dull moment. We love you, LA!” Ordway captioned her post. This was an important reminder that what you see on Instagram isn’t real.
However, some soap fans are soaking up the drama. It’s not what they expected. They took to the comments section to react. One fan wrote, “Great for us viewers. ❤️” Another fan empathized with Ordway, writing, “Been there with the car breaking. Not nice!”
Other fans missed Ordway on Y&R and wished she were bringing some of that drama to Genoa City. One fan wrote, “Miss you on the Y&R 😔.” Most other fans were grateful to see that Ordway and her family were safe and sound. Thankfully, nothing serious happened.
