The Young and the Restless star Michelle Stafford took fans behind the scenes of a fiery car crash. No worries; the actress is fine. Her persona, Phyllis, appears to be the one who’s in trouble. She ended up in a wreck after checking her phone. She received multiple texts from someone who was taunting her. Of course, she thought it was Sharon.

Recently, Stafford posted a new reel on Instagram. She gave fans a glimpse into the car wreck, which aired on the 13,000th episode. Stafford panned the camera around to show the flames surrounding the vehicle.

“I’m inside the car that’s about to be caught on fire,” she told her followers.

She took a deep breath. The cast and crew were heard laughing and goofing around. Stafford panned the camera over to her co-stars Joshua Morrow (Nick) and Conner Floyd (Chance). She joked about whether she should “trust them to save her.”

Morrow gave a goofy grin with the thumbs-up sign. Stafford asked Floyd how he felt about the fire. He joked, “Fiery.” One of the crew members sprayed Morrow and Floyd with water to make it look like they were perspiring from saving Phyllis.

“I’m not gonna lie, it’s a little daunting,” Stafford admitted to her followers.
