The holiday season has arrived on The Young and the Restless. Genoa City characters will be celebrating in their own special way. Whether they’re attending family gatherings or spending the time alone, the characters certainly make the holidays interesting.
Holidays like Christmas are a time of peace and joy, something that’s rare in soap operas. Everyone puts aside their differences to celebrate the special day.
The Newmans and the Abbotts are known for hosting family dinners. Sharon (Sharon Case) decorates Crimson Lights with festive Christmas tress and decorations and bakes sweet treats to serve with coffee. Other characters travel to Paris, Telluride, or Hawaii for a Christmas vacation.
No matter how the characters celebrate, fans always wish they could join in on the fun. Soap Hub scoured Reddit as Y&R fans discussed who they’d spend their holidays with.
One Redditor wanted to be on the Newman ranch.
”Honestly, I would spend it with the Newmans. There’s so many of them, and having everybody gathered under one roof in the new house. I’d love to people watch the Newmans, be part of their dramatic conversations, get caught up on all the relationship/familial/hostile takeover drama!”
Another commenter only wanted to spend the holidays with one Newman. ”Adam [Mark Grossman]. He’s rich, funny, and unpredictable.”
One fan thinks a day with the Baldwin/Fisher clan would be fun. ”I feel like Lauren [Tracey Bregman] and Michael [Christian Le Blanc] and his crazy family would be more my style. His mom half lit, Lauren being sweet and genuine, Michael with a thousand stories, Kevin and Chloe with the baby, and everyone from Genoa City stopping by to have a drink or dessert.”
Another fan wants to go on an adventure with Billy (Jason Thompson). ”I’d go to a casino with Billy. Maybe I could even win Jaboat (if it’s still around).”
Soap opera characters know how to bring the holiday entertainment, so it’s no wonder why many fans would love to join the action. While fans would have fun, they might have to deal with some holiday drama.
