The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, December 24, 2019, kicks off Christmas with an early party at the Victor and the Newmans, a birthday celebration for Summer, tree trimming for Kyle and Lola, and cookies for the Abbotts.

The Young and the Restless Recap: It’s Beginning To…

Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland) had Theo (Tyler Johnson) for yet another round of you’re an Abbott now! Theo talked about Christmas with his family and the traditions they shared. The Abbotts are so desperate for a new family member that they assured him they can add his family traditions to theirs. Just how needy is this family going to get?

Meanwhile, Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle) celebrated their first holiday with childhood ornaments. Celeste (Eva LaRue) and Jack conspired to send them. Which is kind of interesting since didn’t Kyle grow up with his mom’s parents primarily?

They decorated the tree, discussed how happy they are, and then had sex. So, how is this day different from any other day? Oh, yeah… they’re not talking about Theo.

Look a Lot…

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) toasted Summer (Hunter King) as the best early Christmas present she ever got. Then she gave her daughter advice about jobs, life, and men. Because Phyllis is currently hitting it out of the park on all three. Phyllis will only admit that she and Adam (Mark Grossman) are no longer BFF’s. Eh, who needs him?

Like Christmas With Victor

The Newmans celebrated early since Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) were going to visit Reed over the actual holidays. Victor (Eric Braeden) made a toast about what a wonderful family he has, which proved what a wonderful father he is.

Later, to prove what a wonderful husband he is, Victor and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) danced. While Billy got a text from Amanda (Mishael Morgan)… The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
