If Eileen Davidson is Going To DAYS, What Happens To Ashley Now???

Looking for the cause of unemployment in America? Consider actress Eileen Davidson who, once again, will be appearing on two soap-operas simultaneously, The Young and the Restless (YR) and Days Of Our Lives (DOOL).

Davidson will return to Salem as Kristen, the woman who was most recently responsible for digging Little Fetus Tate out of Teresa’s (Jen Lilley) womb and giving birth to him herself.

(This is how we know she’s crazy, as pregnancy, labor and birth are the least pleasant parts of the motherhood process, and Kristen took them on when she didn’t have to!)

Marlena (Deidre Hall) came to give Kristen what for about this – oh, and their last 25 years of other issues – and, what with one thing or another, Kristen ended up falling out a window and into shark-infested waters.

The end of Kristen?

Oh. Please.

Going, Going, Gone….
But what’s got The Young and the Restless fans freaking out is the fear that the return of Kristen means the end of Ashley in Genoa City.

And now is not a good time. Ashley’s got that whole ‘what is going on with Dina (Marla Adams) and Graham (Max Shippee)’ mystery, plus keeping an eye on Jack (Peter Bergman) at work and, let’s not forget, Ravi (Abhi Sinha)!

He’s all cleaned up and even more attractive now that they’ve shared multiple heart-to-hearts, and she’s even gotten a little jealous of the time Ravi is spending with Phyllis. Everything is in place. Ashley can’t leave now!

Y&R fans shouldn’t worry.

Davidson intends to fit her guest appearances on DAYS as Kristen (and/or some other people) in with her Genoa City shooting schedule.

The fact is, as Davidson explained in 2014, playing multiple characters on DAYS is really, really hard, and she has no interest in doing so for an extended period of time.

Ashley, on the other hand, is one, singular lady, with a lot still to do.

And she isn’t going anywhere.
