Imate or Natani? Could Nate and Imani Work on Young and the Restless?

Nate and Imani shared a few lines of conversation on The Young and the Restless, which means it’s time for fans to determine whether or not they belong together. The voters weighed in on whether this is a new super-couple in the making.

The Young and the Restless Polling: Nothing There

They shared one scene, 57% of you point out! They discussed Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) being from out of town and a friend of Amanda’s (Mishael Morgan). Nate (Sean Dominic) probably had a longer and more meaningful conversation with the person who served him his lunch order a few minutes later.

It is way too soon to tell, and the assumption that this is a new couple just because of… well, the obvious… is a bit insulting. Nate has had longer encounters with Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Phyllis (Michelle Stafford)… and… nada.

Chemistry Final

Only 22% saw instant chemistry, and are looking forward to more random encounters, and maybe even an actual conversation. It’s not that you dislike Nate, and it’s not that you’re against him hooking up with Imani. It’s that there was the spark of a beginning there, but no promise of what could happen down the line. We’re open to keep watching, but we aren’t ready to commit quite yet.

Then again, an almost equal 21%, are grossed out by the thought of Nate dating Imani after also having dated her sister, Amanda (Mishael Morgan). I mean, could you imagine if Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci (Beth Maitland) married – and had children – with the same man?
