There hasn’t been a lot of romance on The Young and the Restless lately. But with the year coming to end, we can’t think of a better way to kick off some brand new couples for 2022 than with a surprise kiss on New Year’s Eve.

Let’s show Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) how we do things here in Genoa City, 56% of you urge, by getting his lips nice and puckered as soon as the ball drops. Obviously, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) is the predictable candidate. But it’s also the boring one. We’re thinking outside of the box. How about…Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)? If she wants to get Nicholas Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) attention…this would do it!

By the same token, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) would be the obvious one to smooch Phyllis, 23% of viewers agree. So why not have some fun with her, as well. Want a real story for 2022? Have Phyllis get a kiss from her best pal, Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc)…also her good buddy Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s (Tracey Bregman) husband.

Young and Restless: Man About Town

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is at loose ends, with both Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) zeroing in on him, 18% of the audience observes. But we’re thinking…Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson). She’s been protesting a whole lot too much about why would any woman be interested in someone like Adam.

Y&R: Remember Me

Only 3% voted for Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose). Likely because you forgot she was even still on the show. (Is she even still on the show?) A kiss would be nice. And we’re sure she’d appreciate it most from Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Who is this Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) of whom you speak?
