On The Young and the Restless, Billy is so new and improved these days that Victoria has decided she wants him back! He is taking his job seriously, he is a doting dad to his kids, and he and Lily appear to be engaged in a grown-up relationship.
The Young and the Restless Polling
Of course, this isn’t the first time Billy (Jason Thompson) has appeared to change for the better. But are these changes (this time) temporary or for the long haul? What almost 2,000 voters are suspecting:
Love Of a Good Woman
A tiny majority, 51%, believe this is an all-grown-up Billy – and Lily (Christel Khalil) is the one to thank for it! She expects professionalism at work and that has spilled over to all other aspects of Billy’s life.
More importantly, because she acts like a mature adult, Billy has no choice but to get with the program. It’s not like she’s manipulating him or blackmailing him. She’s simply leading by example, and, as long as she stays the course, so will Billy.
Early Bird
A smaller 27% of you have decided it’s too soon to tell. Billy has pulled himself together before. Usually just in time to reunite with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). But then time passes, he gets bored, and he does something stupid. Sure, he seems more determined this time. And a guy his age should really drop that frat boy lifestyle. But he’s rich. Rich kids never really have to grow up.
Never Have I Ever
In the last place, 22% of the audience is snorting coffee through their nose as you answer, “Uh, yeah, no.” Billy will never grow up because he has no reason to. It’s not just the cushion of his family money. It’s also that women keep falling for his irresponsible personality.
And, as long as that keeps happening, why change his act? Until Peter Pans are no longer considered charming, they’ll keep flitting around. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
