Lauralee Bell is best known for starring as Christine Blair on The Young and the Restless. The actress has also appeared in shows such as The Bold and the Beautiful, CSI: Miami, and Pacific Blue.

Bell was born on December 22 in Chicago, Illinois. She is the daughter of YR and BB creators, William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell. Her father either wrote, created, or developed shows such as Days of Our Lives, Another World, Guiding Light, As the World Turns, The Young and the Restless, and The Bold and the Beautiful.
Bell became an extra on her father’s show, The Young and the Restless, when she was just 13 years old. She soon earned a speaking part. Fans really enjoyed watching her, so they created a character named Christine “Cricket” Blair for Bell who continues to this day.
Bell won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class-Short Format Daytime Program for producing the web series, ML Promise, in 2013. The series was also a Webby Award Honoree.
Though Bell has been acting since she was a little kid, she makes time to follow her passions outside of performing. She has opened two successful boutiques, On Beverly Blvd and On Sunset, and also has a production and event facility called 3Labs.
Bell has been married to her husband, Scott Martin, since 1997, but the couple actually met when they were in the eighth grade at the Latin School in Chicago. They have two children — 18-year-old son Christian and 16-year-old daughter Samantha. The family resides in Los Angeles. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
