Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor has been waiting for her husband to come home to her on The Young and the Restless for months now. What did she get for her patient trouble? Nothing good, that’s for sure!
The Young and the Restless: Is There A Chance Chance Is Alive?
The news is that Chance is presumed dead in some top-secret location. It wasn’t what Abby was expecting. But is he really gone for good? What almost 5,000 of you are predicting:
Biding His Time
A winning 68% of the audience thinks you know exactly how this is going to go: Abby (Melissa Ordway) will go through the five stages of grief – she’s obviously in denial right now. But, once she finally hits acceptance and moves on, guess who will come walking through the door. Just like his father before him. And his step-grandma. Chancellors never say die. And they never do it for good, either.
Bigger Young and the Restless Base
Forget the Chancellors, 26% of viewers add. How about all of Genoa City? How about all of soap-dom? Nobody ever perishes for good, especially when it happens in some other country and their only evidence is a building that collapsed…that they can’t even be sure Chance was in.
Clearly, this is a government plot to shove Chance even deeper undercover. And it’s his way of setting Abby free…until Chance decides he’s ready to waltz back in and claim his wife…and their son.
End of the Road
Only 6% of fans believe this is the end of the road for Abby and Chance. Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) is Genoa City royalty. She could never be wrong. And if anybody knows what really happened to a character, it would be her.
Plus, little Dominic’s parentage is confusing enough between Abby, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). They don’t need Chance around to turn this baby triangle into a quad.
