Does Nikki Want Nick and Sharon To Reunite On The Young and the Restless?

On The Young and the Restless, Nikki stunned Sharon when she said she preferred her to Nick’s current squeeze, Phyllis. Is that really all that much of a surprise, though? Nikki and Sharon may have had their catfights – though those were more about Victor (Eric Braeden) than Nick – at least Nikki never had to fear for her life around Sharon.

Which is more than can be said about Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). So, if given her druthers, would Nikki support her son getting back with his first love? What over 2,000 viewers told us:

Who Cares?

A majority 47% of you don’t believe it matters one way or the other, as Nick (Joshua Morrow) could not care less what either of his parents thinks about his choices in women. He’s gotten together with and broken up with Sharon (Sharon Case) almost a dozen times, he’s gotten together with and broken up with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) slightly fewer times than that, and in between were random women like Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sage. And, at no time, did he ask Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) for an opinion.

Leaning Blonde

A smaller 30% of the audience is convinced that Nikki has warmed up towards Sharon. Not only is she a great mother to Nikki’s grandchildren, Noah and Faith (Reylynn Caster), but Nikki definitely felt sympathy for her during Sharon’s battle with breast cancer, and now with Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) poisoning and Faith’s kidney failure. The devil you know is always better than the devil you don’t know. And Nikki and Sharon know each other pretty well by now.

Slight Edge

In last place, but not really much lower, are the 23% who shrug, “Yeah, sure, Nikki likes Sharon more than Phyllis, but let’s not get crazy.” If Nick has to go back to an ex, she’d prefer Sharon.
