Will Y&R’s Nate Hastings Blow His Second Chance?

On The Young and the Restless, Devon and Lily were united in their decision not to re-hire Nate Hastings, no matter how much Mamie pushed for it. But then, Esther stopped by their table, babbled something about second chances, and gave them a cookie. They did a 180. Welcome back to Chancellor-Winters, Nate! How will you blow it this time?

Nate Hasting: Rising Up

Of course, there is always the small chance that Nate (Sean Dominic) has learned his lesson, and he’s left his underhanded ways in the past. After all, not a single scheme has ever worked out for him. How many times does he have to fail before Nate realizes that maybe the life of a wheeler-dealer isn’t for him? I Want It My Way

Nate will be on his best behavior — for a while. But the minute someone doesn’t agree with him or refuses to take his counsel or just looks at him funny, he’ll be back to his scheming ways. He’ll decide he isn’t being respected and will set out to make the culprit sorry. Sure, Nate is the one who always ends up sorry in the end, but, hey, maybe this time things will be different!

Tied My Hands

Naturally, the minute Nate feels dismissed by Devon (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil), he’ll go running back to Tucker (Trevor St. John) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver). They’ll pat him on the head and make him feel like a big, important business guy. Nate will be back to doing their bidding in no time. He’ll deliver his family to Tucker on a silver platter.

Then be confused as to why Mamie (Veronica Redd) claims this isn’t what she had in mind. Everyone is just always against poor Nate. What does he have to do to be accepted and loved like everyone else?
