Victoria Newman and Ashland Locke rejoining forces on The Young and the Restless could lead to a war on two fronts for the newly happily unmarried couple.
Young and the Restless Polling
If they ignore both Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) threats and the rest of the town’s frowny, judgmental faces and decide to remain in Genoa City, could this be Ashland (Robert Newman) and Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) foreseeable future?
Y&R: In This Corner
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), the gambling addict who tried to kill a man while in a split, homicidal gum-chewing persona and who is currently living with a woman who actually served jail time for vehicular homicide believes that Ashland is a bad influence on his and Victoria’s children – who currently don’t even live with either parent, but are away at boarding school.
We can imagine Billy suing Victoria for full custody, and using his ultimate trump card when it comes to Johnny – Victoria isn’t Johnny’s biological parent, only Billy is. Would Billy go so far as to pull Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) into his suit, encouraging her to petition for her maternal rights with Johnny? Chelsea believes she just lost her imaginary love, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). She is looking for someone new to obsess over. And Johnny fits the bill nicely.
Young and the Restless: And in the Other Corner
Ashland was tearfully ready to give up when Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) served him with a restraining order against seeing Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). But Victoria urged him not to do it.
It was Victoria first telling Ashland about her love for Johnny that bucked Ashland up after he first found out he wasn’t Harrison’s biological father. Will she now encourage her man to fight for his son? Especially since Ashland is Harrison’s legal father, and Kyle and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) don’t really have any rights to him.
