Faith Newman is back from college on The Young and the Restless. She spent a day meeting her new niece and catching up with Mom and Dad. Now it’s time to have some summertime fun! What will the next few months bring Nick and Sharon’s little girl?

Faith (Reylynn Caster) used to be stuck in a Genoa City friend dead zone. She was too young for the Reed, Charlie, and Mattie teen set but too old for kids like Connor (Judah Mackey) and Christian. But now there’s Lucy. She is close enough to Faith’s age that they can hang out and do normal teen girl things. Lucy doesn’t seem like the bullying type, and besides, Faith seems to have gotten over her past social outcast issues.

What’s going on with her and Moses? Did they break up at college? Are they trying the long-distance thing? Does he want her to join him in New York? Is she trying to convince him to come back to Genoa City? Some closure would be nice.

And if Moses is out of the picture, how about bringing back Charlie? Or someone completely new? Maybe there’s someone she met at college? Someone with a grudge against the Newmans? Doesn’t everyone have a grudge against the Newmans?

Y&R: Older Man For Faith Newman
And then there’s the truly scary proposition. Cameron (Linden Ashby) targets Faith as a way to get back at Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow). Yeah, he is literally old enough to be her dad. But would Faith be the first impressionable young girl to fall for a much older man’s charms?
He can tell her how smart she is, how mature, how she’s well…as the Internet meme goes…how she’s “not like other girls.” Faith isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer. Let’s hope Cameron doesn’t decide to use one of those on her.
