Complicated family trees are nothing new to Young and the Restless kids. When Connor found out Sally was having a baby with his dad while dating his uncle Nick, his response was, “Is that it? Can I go now?” We feel you, kid. On the other hand, Dominic has taken the modern family concept up to 11. Here, by the numbers, is how many relatives the poor tyke will one day need to buy holiday presents for.
Young and the Restless: My Two Dads
This is the simplest piece of the equation. Dominic has one biological dad: Devon (Bryton James), and one legal dad: Chance (Conner Floyd). Dominic lives with his biological mom, Abby (Melissa Ordway), and his biological dad. But his legal dad insists on visiting. So that’s: Two.
Y&R: Mothers Always Bring Extra Love
Abby is Dominic’s bio mom. But Mariah (Camryn Grimes) gave birth to him. Mariah is married to Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). So that’s three moms…with the potential to go up to five, should Chance and/or Devon ever remarry.
Young and the Restless: To Grandmother’s House We Go
OK, now it gets really complicated…Dominic’s biological grandmothers are Ashley (Eileen Davidson) — Abby’s mom — and Harmony (Chene’ Lawson) — Devon’s mom. But there is also Sharon (Sharon Case), who is Mariah’s mom, and Dru (Victoria Rowell), who was Devon’s adoptive mom. And then there’s Nina (Tricia Cast), who is Chance’s mom. So…five grandmas. That’s a lot of cookies!

Young & Restless: Grandfather Clause
Buckle in…it gets worse (better)? Dominic’s biological grandfathers are Victor (Eric Braeden) — Abby’s dad — and Neil (Kristoff St. John) — Devon’s dad. But there is also Abby’s adoptive dad, Brad (Don Diamont), and Devon’s biological dad, Tucker (Trevor St. John). Add Chance’s dad, Phillip, and Mariah’s dad, Frank — whom Sharon was accused of killing. So that’s six grandfathers! No wonder the poor kid needs so many names.
