Come Back, Cane! Should He Return To The Young and the Restless?

Cane left The Young and the Restless in order to prove he didn’t have anything to do with stealing Devon’s inheritance from Kay.

That’s been proved. But Cane hasn’t come back. Should he? What almost 3,000 viewers would like to see happen:

Losing Lily

Almost half of you, 48%, don’t see the point of him returning. Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) only purpose was to romance Lily (Christel Khalil). (Especially now that their twins seem to have gone missing.) But Lily has moved on. She has Billy (Jason Thompson) now. They’re the hot new couple. Cane would only get in the way.

So what, 31% challenge. Cane can take Billy. In fact, you would really like it for Cane to take on Billy. Those two have never liked each other. Cane blames Billy for Lily leaving in the first place, and knowing that he’s moved on to Cane’s wife should only make them more likely to get snarky.

Just having Victoria (Amelia Heinle) use the kids to split them up isn’t enough. You want Cane to show what a real love triangle looks like! Or, even better, a quad!

New Pastures

And then there’s the 21% of the audience who wants Cane to come back, Billy and Lily to stay together… and Cane to move onto someone else. Victoria is the obvious choice. But there are others. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) should be on the lookout for a new man soon – and she and Cane have that whole, fleecing innocent, trusting people of their money thing going for them.

Amanda (Mishael Morgan) might end up the odd woman out if Devon (Bryton James) and Elena (Bryni Sarpy) reunite. Or how about Sally (Courtney Hope)? Cane loves climbing the corporate ladder!
