“With deep, humble gratitude I honor all the mothers, aunts, and caregiving women healers in my life and yours,” Mosley posted on Instagram, alongside a series of photos that can be seen below and show that the actress is expecting her second child!
“Yes. We have another addition coming around early July!” Mosley happily confirms. “(Second glamour shot taken by my daughter the other day #ThisIs31Weeks.) And then my own wild, eccentric, big-hearted mama who we traveled this morning to see along with my sister!!!!!!!!!!!! Mosley’s pals, including former BB co-star, her TV father-in-law, John McCook (Eric) weighed in with congratulatory messages. “BIG smile, Karla…BIG!!” posted McCook.
Mosley and partner John Rogers welcomed their first child, daughter Aurora Imani Mosley Rogers on August 17, 2018. The actress first made the soap opera scene in 2008 as Christina on Guiding Light. She remained on that show until its end in 2009. In 2013, the actress and GL co-star Lawrence Saint-Victor (ex-Remy) joined BB as Maya Avant and Carter Walton.
Viewers later learned that Maya was born Myron and the soap told a tender story of her journey and subsequent romance with Rick Forrester (Jacob Young). Rick and Maya had a daughter Lizzie with the help of Maya’s sister Nicole (Reign Edwards) acting as a surrogate. Later, Maya, Rick, and Lizzie moved overseas to work at Forrester International. Maya returned to Los Angeles months later, a single woman.
Morgan is set to begin airing again on YR on June 1 so, viewers can see Mosley for the rest of May playing Amanda.
