Imani Benedict wasn’t pulling any punches when she announced her intention to flirt like crazy with Nate Hastings on The Young and the Restless. She didn’t care that Devon Hamilton and Amanda Sinclair were giving her the side-eye.
The Young and the Restless Polling
Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) is pretty used to getting what Imani wants. Of course, Nate (Sean Dominic) has just moved in with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). So, how would over 2,000 viewers feel about seeing ‘ImaNate’ on their screens?
Stay Put
No way, 71% of the audience is violently shaking their collective heads. Nate and Elena are a cute couple. They’ve had to go through a lot to be together, and breaking them up five minutes after they’ve made a commitment would be tacky.
Not to mention, you know how Elena is. She clearly can’t handle being without a man. If she and Nate were to break up, she’d just make a bee-line back to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). And, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) certainly wouldn’t appreciate that.
The Young and the Restless: Look Around
This doesn’t mean we’d like Imani to get lost, 13% of you rush to clarify. We just think she’d be better off with somebody new. How about…Noah Newman (Rory Gibson)? We need to get him out of Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) orbit, and Imani seems like as good of a distraction as any. Plus, they both grew up rich and spoiled. They have oodles in common!
Person of Interest
Elena is a lot more interesting than Imani, 9% of voters insist. We’d rather watch how she handles fellow doc Nate going all corporate, then see Imani steal away her man just to prove that she can.
Optional
Finally, 7% think it’s Nate who can do better. How about picking up where he left off with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)? She’s certainly free these days.
