The Bold and the Beautiful

Will Sheila Carter Use An Unsuspecting Keith on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Sheila Carter doesn’t have many friends on The Bold and the Beautiful but she has found someone to talk to in Keith, the assistant manager of the hotel in which she’s been living. Actor Nick Waters plays the hotel worker — but does he know how dangerous she can be?

Sheila Has An Ally On The Bold and the Beautiful

“The interesting thing is that [Sheila’s] this nefarious villain but from Keith’s perspective, she’s just another guest at the hotel,” Waters tells Soap Hub of the long-running villainess on The Bold and the Beautiful. “She’s been staying there longer and longer. [Keith] is questioning why she’s there for so long.” In the meantime, however, the two are building a rapport.

Viewers saw last week Keith advise Sheila to bypass her daughter-in-law Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and go directly to Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) if she wants a relationship with her son and grandson.

Shelia’s Waters Run Deep

Sheila tends to keep people around on The Bold and the Beautiful as long as they don’t get in her way. Fortunately, Keith has shown some value to Sheila. “Keith is blissfully unaware of how diabolical she can be,” Waters says. The actor, however, is quite aware of Sheila’s reign of terror. “I’ve watched some [past episodes]. She’s a fun villain!”

Waters is enjoying his run as Keith on The Bold and the Beautiful, noting the there’s a real “family feel” to the set given how long actors and crew have worked on the show. “Everyone’s been welcoming and has taken me under their wing particularly, Kimberlin,” Waters says. “She’s been absolutely fantastic. She’ll run lines with me before our scenes and we’ll talk about interesting ways we can do things. She’s been terrific.”

Waters Has Night Moves

Waters also can be seen in the upcoming film Night Carnage, written and directed by Thomas J. Churchill. “It’s my third film with that director,” Waters says. “It’s a horror film about a werewolf — this beautiful woman. I play this sleazy guy who’s interested in her [but] she’s a man-eater, literally. My character takes her out and things might not go so well for him.”

Recently, Waters stepped behind the camera to executive produce the film Margaux, which he also wrote. The thriller tells the tale of a group of college friends who rent a house for a weekend of partying. They soon realize that the home’s advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) system, Margaux, has sinister plans. (Sounds to us like Margaux and Sheila would get along great!)

“When I was in college, I studied a lot of engineering and computer science,” Waters says. “There are larger implications of where all this [technology] is headed. When I was writing the screenplay, I asked how can we take the traditional horror trope of a group of college seniors going away and add in this timely element of technology that has both good and bad elements to it?”

Margaux is tentatively set for an early 2022 release. In the meantime, don’t miss Waters, who appears again on B&B on Monday, October 4. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS.
