The Bold and the Beautiful’s Finn: Is This Guy Too Good To Be True?

For all intents and purposes, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Finn is the perfect man. He’s tall, dark, and handsome, and a doctor to boot. But is Steffy’s guy really a good guy? Or is he more likely too good to be true.

The Good Doctor

Viewers have been skeptical of the pristine Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), since he first turned up at Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hospital bedside. He was kind and caring, smart and savvy; the type of man worthy of the Forrester fashion heiress.

Within weeks, they were flirting. Within months, they were madly in love. And, in less than a year, they’re engaged to be married. Yet, neither Steffy nor viewers, know all that much, if anything, about Finn. It’s a soap opera, so it’s impossible to believe he’s a sexy single, 30-something doctor without any baggage or skeletons in his closet.

Past Imperfect

Fans and the Forrester family deserve to learn more about Finn before he walks down the aisle with Steffy. Are there any women of note in his past? Perhaps someone who broke his heart or vice versa, or a secret liaison he’s kept hidden from his medical student days? Could he have a love child out there he knows nothing about?

On the work front, have there been any questionable issues regarding his performance as an MD? Has he ever fallen for a patient before and, if so, how did it play out? Are there any malpractice suits filed against him that could affect his professional and financial future?

Family Affair

Some viewers have speculated about Finn’s parents and wondered if Sheila could turn out to be his mother. That scenario gained momentum when actress Kimberlin Brown suddenly turned up at the B&B studio, although it was quickly explained away.

Still, think of the drama if Sheila did turn out to be Finn’s mom. She could make her dramatic entrance at Finn and Steffy’s engagement party, tossing the whole event into instant turmoil, not to mention the couple’s plans for a happy future.
