The Bold and the Beautiful’s Wyatt Spencer is worried about his brother’s wife, Hope Logan Spencer, and her unhealthy obsession with Thomas Forrester. But the same can’t be said for his portrayer, Darin Brooks. This man has a perfect reason to be festive.
Happy Birthday, Darin Brooks
That’s because he was born on May 27, 1984, in Honolulu, Hawaii, which means that this talented performer is turning 39 years old today! Brooks’s interest in acting manifested itself in high school when he joined the theater department.
Post-graduation, he enrolled in acting classes and began modeling. Work as an extra in films soon followed. Two years after relocating to Los Angeles, he landed the role of Max Brady on Days of our Lives.
Brooks remained at the soap from 2005 to 2010 – and won a Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Younger Actor category for his efforts. The year that he made his exit, he scored a leading role in the sitcom Blue Mountain State. That program aired on Spike TV for three seasons and spawned a subsequent film produced by Netflix.
He has played Wyatt Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful since June 21, 2013. Brooks’s other acting credits include guest spots on CSI: Miami, Castle, and 2 Broke Girls, as well as the online series Miss Behave and Bloomers.
He’s also played characters in three short films – Staring at the Sun, Spotlight, and Choices – two made-for-TV movies (Bad Girls and The Seven Year Hitch), and the feature Liars All.
Brooks’s hobbies include playing the guitar, bass guitar, and drums. He has been married to actress Kelly Kruger since March 2016. Their child, Everleigh Jolie was born on September 22, 2019 and daughter Gemma Wynter arrived on January 29, 2022.
