Canadian singer Leonard Cohen wrote Hallelujah, which was first released on the musician’s album Various Positions in 1984. The song grew more popular after it was recorded by John Cale and, later, Jeff Buckley.

The song has appeared in the 2001 film Shrek and was used in the Fox drama The O.C. After Cohen’s death in 2016, the song hit the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time ever.

The BB creative team utilized music on the 30-minute serial regularly throughout the 1990s. Songbirds Jeff Trachta (ex-Thorne) and Bobbie Eakes (ex-Macy) performed duets on the show including When I Fall in Love and What’s Forever For. John McCook (Eric) and Sally (the late Darlene Conley) also sang on the show, too. Ridge and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) love theme is the Nat King Cole hit “Unforgettable.”

Moss exited the series in 2012. The following year, Thorsten Kaye assumed the part of Ridge and has played the role ever since. Moss and Luna’s rendition of Hallelujah is available on iTunes.
