The Bold and the Beautiful actor Henry Joseph Samiri has proven himself to be the hero of the show as his character, Douglas, brought to light the news that baby Phoebe was really baby Beth. He was challenged by his father, Thomas, to do the right thing, and now, Samiri is taking on challenges away from the show!
You can find snaps of Samiri doing some indoor rock climbing right on his Instagram page. As you can see in the post below, the fearless young man is climbing his way to the top! “Whatever the challenge, I hope to always reach the top!!” the post read. “#skyisthelimit #reachforthestars #nevergiveup #icandoit #kidathletes #athletickids.”
Samiri has been handed a lot of material this year ever since he debuted on BB back in the spring. Douglas’s mother, Caroline (Linsey Godfrey), had died, leaving him and his father alone. They returned to Los Angeles and it became apparent that Thomas wanted to marry Hope (Annika Noelle) so that Douglas would have a mom once more.
Even though he knew his father would be mad at him, Douglas, having overheard the truth about baby Beth being alive, came forward and spilled the news. Thomas wasn’t happy, to say the least.
Samiri played scenes in which he both stared down his angry father and also reached out to his dad, telling him that deep down he knew he was a good guy. Thomas then broke down and showed his humanity.
Currently, there are four generations of Forrester men on BB: Eric (John McCook), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Thomas, and Douglas. Now, Samiri has a mountain, of sorts, to climb on BB! Hope wants to adopt Douglas because she doesn’t think that Thomas is a suitable father. But Thomas doesn’t want to lose his son. How does Douglas feel about all this? Stay tuned to find out! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
