The Bold and the Beautiful Star Denise Richards Makes Passionate Plea For Her Pet

Denise Richards wears many hats including the one she dons to play Shauna on The Bold and the Beautiful. She’s also a dog lover and is now asking fans to keep a beloved family member in their thoughts and prayers.

“Praying for our #louie,” Richards posted on Instagram along with a photograph of her dear pet. “I love this guy so much. He had a rough life when he was younger.. we rescued him 9 yrs ago; he’s just one of the funniest dogs we’ve ever adopted. It’s so hard when they enter their senior years. He’s so loved by all of us; hopefully he’ll make a positive recovery.”

Richards has worked pretty much non-stop in Hollywood since she began her acting career. Many fans know her from her role in the 1997 hit film Starship Troopers. She went on to star alongside Kevin Bacon (ex-Tim, Guiding Light), Matt Dillon (There’s Something About Mary), and Neve Campbell (Party of Five) in the thriller Wild Things.

The actress then became a “Bond Girl” after being cast in the role of Christmas Jones, a nuclear physicist in the film The World Is Not Enough. Richards also guest-starred in the popular TV series Friends as Cassie Geller, cousin to Ross (David Schwimmer) and Monica (Courteney Cox).

Last year, Richards was cast in the upcoming drama Paper Empire. Despite her hectic schedule, which includes being a cast member of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Richards has also taken the time to add BB to her resume!
