The Bold and the Beautiful star Alley Mills took part in recent Daytime Emmy parties, and now, she has something even more to celebrate!
Today, May 9, is Mills’ birthday! The actress is best known to prime time viewers as Kevin Arnold’s (Fred Savage) mother on the hit ABC sitcom The Wonder Years.
She was cast in the role of Pam Douglas, Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) introverted sister in 2006. Her debut appeared in the story that revealed Steph had been beaten by their father as a youngster while their mother, Ann (Betty White), allowed it to happen.
Pam ended up staying around and has had romances with Stephen Logan (Patrick Duffy) and Charlie Webber (Dick Christie). She’s had a rivalry with two women — Donna (Jennifer Gareis), whom she doesn’t feel is good enough for Eric (John McCook), and Quinn (Rena Sofer), whom she doesn’t feel is good enough for Eric!
Mills is a native of Chicago, Illinois and studied acting at the London Academy Of Music And Dramatic Art. She starred in the 1979 series The Associates along with Martin Short (Saturday Night Live) before landing The Wonder Years.
Off-screen, she’s wed to actor Orson Bean (Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman; Desperate Housewives). Soap Hub joins Mills’ family, friends, and fans in wishing the actress a happy birthday and many happy returns! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
