It’s a General Hospital comeback no one saw coming! The road to romance won’t be a smooth one for Anna and Finn! Rebecca Budig, who played Hayden, Finn’s former love interest, has some big news is back!
EW.com is reporting that Budig is coming back to Port Charles this summer. The character’s been referenced here and there over the months, but viewers haven’t seen Hayden since she left town in September 2017 after her romance with Finn hit an impasse.
Hayden was pregnant but Finn was led to believe that the baby had died. Fans speculated that Hayden and Finn’s baby was going to be worked into the baby switch story involving Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) baby, fathered by Michael (Chad Duell), currently being raised by Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes), and Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) baby, but that never transpired.
Since Hayden’s absence, Finn has embarked on a romance with Anna. Lately, Robert (Tristan Rogers) has been hanging around and there’s certainly a big fan base for Anna and Robert. So will the show’s current triangle turn into a rectangle with Hayden’s return? Stay tuned to find out!

Budig made her daytime debut back in 1995 as Michelle Bauer on Guiding Light. Post-GL, she joined the cast of All My Children as Greenlee Smythe.
Viewers can see Budig in L.A.’s Finest, a spinoff of Bad Boys, set to drop on Spectrum’s On Demand, which stars Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union.
